  • Phasmophobia ruined – How the latest update destroyed the game

The latest Phasmophobia update has augmented the amount of bugs and ruin the gameplay loop.

The recent Phasmophobia update titled “Player character update” had a simple premise, to add more customization to the players character and add more animations.

Simple right what could go wrong? Well there is a very limited customization having only a handful of items to choose from, most being simple re colors. On top of all of that the brand new character models aren’t very good.

    Animation from recent update

On the other hand the brand new animations break the game and have changed certain parts of the game that have been unchanged for years. Not only do the animations look unpolished, awkward and rushed, they force the items such as your camera, thermometer and even the journal further away from the player, making it harder to see important information.

The animations also slow down actions that used to be instant. Suddenly protecting yourself from the ghost, which used to be instant, takes 3 seconds which is enough time for it to catch up and kill you.

But what’s worse is the game is now very buggy, from what I have seen you can lose items permanently just by picking them up, you can block doors from opening with items, which used to be impossible just to name a few.

  • WHATMORE – the emerging sound of NYC

5 friends that graduated from the same high school are now defining fresh new sound of New York.

“It’s very fluid, very New York. I feel like New York is a genre”.

There songs being a genre blend of pop, rap, punk, indie, jazz, alt rock. Pulling their inspirations form what surrounded them throughout their life, the New York based collective have stated that their genre is New York.

Starting off with making short yet full of life remixes of popular songs on TikTok they were able to build a small following. They slowly transitioned into promoting their first over the course of a few months.

For every single off the album they released, they also created and published a video introducing one of the members of the band.

The self titled album WHATMORE released on October 17th. This first project kept listeners on their feet by never having a song back to back with the same tone or genre.
