Darlan Ferreira Souza (born 24 June 2002) is a Brazilian volleyball player who plays for the Brazilian men’s national volleyball team. He represented Brazil at the 2022 FIVB World Championship, where he won a bronze medal. He has emerged as a top playmaker and leader of the Brazilian team.

Darlan Souza is a Brazilian volleyball player born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He grew up in a family connected to volleyball and developed a passion for the sport at a young age alongside his brother, Alan Souza, who is also a professional player. Known for his powerful serves and explosive attacks, Darlan quickly rose through Brazil’s youth volleyball system before becoming one of the country’s top young stars on the national team and in professional leagues.

Darlan Souza made his debut in the professional volleyball world after joining the senior team of Sesi-Bauru in 2019 while still a teenager. He later made his debut for Brazil’s senior national team in 2022 during the Volleyball Nations League (VNL), where his powerful serves and attacks quickly made him stand out internationally

Right now, Darlan Souza is playing professionally for Rana Verona in Italy’s top volleyball league, where he’s having a strong season and becoming one of Brazil’s biggest young volleyball stars. He’s also still part of Brazil’s national team and was recently called up for the 2026 Volleyball Nations League (VNL).
